A classy, understated Verdicchio from our friend Leo Felici. As Leo explains, the vines here in Apiro, at the foot of Mount San Vicino, grow on sandy clay soils and the microclimate is informed by both the Adriatic and the Apenninines. This wine’s freshness and salinity make it great match for whitebait, calamari or even fish and chips.
