2021 Morgon, Domaine Antoine Sunier

From an alluvial site in the esteemed climat of Grands Cras, this is an open-knit and approachable Morgon. Antoine casually remarks that some of his vines here are approaching a century old. These old vines no doubt contribute to the wine’s considerable concentration on the mid-palate, which is packed with supple tannins, juicy fruit and, again, the moreish acidity that’s a hallmark of the ’21 vintage.
