This wine’s incredible precision mirrors the meticulousness of the winemaking behind it. Davanti Casa is made from the finest bunches, hand-selected from a single-parcel of century-old vines in front of (Davanti) the ancient farmhouse. Vinified with 35% whole bunches, it spends a fortnight on the skins; the wine gently absorbing all the magic of its terroir. Emiliano is a past-master at oak management, so while the ’21 was aged in 100% new barriques, their impact is remarkably subtle. Davanti Casa combines real presence and density with a sense of weightlessness.
