2021 Côte Rôtie ‘Carmina’, Domaine Pierre Jean Villa
Carmina is a (predictably) complex, elegant yet approachable Côte Rôtie, made from the fruit of P-J’s younger vines. Expect glorious aromas of grilled meat, bonfire and potpourri. The ’21 is impeccable balanced and harmonious, even at this nascent stage, and should have a long drinking window.
