2021 Brouilly, Domaine Coudert
A lovely start to the range, this is a strong contender for anyone’s house red. The vines here ripen a week or so earlier than in Fleurie, and the ’21 boasts plush tannins and mouth-filling red fruit, but no lack of acidity. Weighs in at a little under 13% abv – another selling point.
