2020 Moulin-à-Vent ‘Château du Moulin-à-Vent’
The château’s flagship wine is a firm Stannary favourite. It hails from three parcels around the windmill itself. Brice tends to keep about 40% of the stems for this cuvée, for freshness and definition, but he and Edouard feel the de-stemmed component better expresses the stellar terroir here. With thrusting acidity and somewhat firm tannins that will mellow in the coming years, the ’20 is supremely elegant.
