The concept behind this delicious, early-drinking red is the same as Primavera. 100% Syrah, it hails from five parcels south of Chavanay, primarily on granite soil. The grapes undergo a brief maceration, and the wine is aged for a little under a year in neutral oak casks, to lock in its crunch and floral character.
