The Abbot would have been chuffed with this! Expressive and already complex on the nose, with stone citrus fruit aromas, floral and herbal notes and just a hint of flinty reduction. With such presence on the palate, it’s hard to believe the 2022 Abtsberg Kabinett weighs in at just 7.5% ABV (but that of course is one of the joys of German Riesling). Tapers majestically from the plump mid-palate to an infinite, saline finish.
