With a proportion of fruit from century-old vines, this gorgeous red has a playful, whole-bunch (30%) influenced nose with violets and red berries to the fore. Plush and giving on the attack, the ‘21 can be broached immediately, but there’s plenty of nuance here, which reveals itself as the palate tapers to that long, stoney/salty finish characteristic of Etna’s best wines.
