2020 Moulin-à-Vent ‘Les Vérillats’, Château du Moulin-à-Vent
Les Vérillats is a prized east-facing site in what Edouard describes as ‘a windy corridor’. It has notably shallow, sandy soil. The 2020 is a real triumph, combining a charming and expressive nose – with plenty of enticing whole-bunch character – with admirable tension on the palate. Expect it to get better and better over the next five years and beyond.
