We feel extremely privileged to have been the UK exclusive agent of Domaine Georges Noëllat, since Maxime’s first vintage in 2010. The last ten years have been an extraordinary journey for Maxime. He started at the Domaine at the tender age of 20 and because of his heritage and exceptional holdings in Vosne-Romanée, the eyes of the world were on him from the very first vintage.
Prosecco’s revival over the past 10 years is well documented. Since 2010, demand for the fresh, youthful, fruit-forward fizz, made from the Glera grape, has skyrocketed, such that it eclipsed Champagne sales for the first time in 2016.
Beaucastel has released its 2019 vintage and we are delighted to have received an allocation. 2019 is a great vintage in the Rhône valley, or in the words of Jeb Dunnuck ‘The 2019s will be a step up over the 2018s and offer more depth, concentration, and richness, all while showing considerable purity of fruit and elegance.’
