Azienda Agricola Frozza

This is a tiny family-run estate of 8 hectares situated in the heart of Valdobbiadene in an area which is known for producing terroir infused Prosecco from extremely steep mountain side vineyards. Giovanni Frozza is widely regarded by connoisseurs in the Veneto region as a self-styled, outstanding virtuoso in the art of artisanal Prosecco winemaking. With 8 hectares of 25-50 year old vines, Giovanni and his uncle use traditional methods in both the vineyard as well as the cellar to produce wines that stand the test of generations. Giovanni still uses indigenous varietals and native yeasts in his winemaking, despite regulations becoming gradually less strict in the region.
