2016 Sanford and Benedict Pinot Noir

Wine colour
USA > California > Sonoma County
Tasting Notes:

The 2016 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard is the most promising candidate for cellaring of all these reds from Lutum, offering up attractive aromas of cherry, raspberry, currant leaf and aromatic bark, followed by a medium to full-bodied, layered palate with juicy acids, a nice sense of completeness, and a firm, chewy finish which will soften with a little bottle age. At fully 963 cases, this is also Lutum`s largest cuvée by some margin. William Kelley 93+

Press Reviews:

The 2016 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard is sublime. Bright red-toned fruit, chalk, blood orange and white pepper grace the 2016 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard. Lifted, precise and nuanced, the 2016 has so much to offer. This is an especially translucent, weightless expression of S&B. I especially admire the energy and focus here.
