2016 Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Wine colour
France > Burgundy > Côte de Nuits
Domaine Taupenot-Merme
Tasting Notes:

This comes from vines in both Morey and Chambolle, though both plots were frosted in the lower areas. It is quite restrained on the nose and has a lovely salty, savoury energy in the mouth with excellent length. Impressive for a Bourgogne

Press Reviews:

`The 2016 Bourgogne Rouge has a lifted, quite floral bouquet that offers pretty blueberry and black cherry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, slightly grainy tannin, although it just needs a little more fleshiness to develop on the finish. If it does, it may perch at the upper end of my banded score.` 86-88 points, Neal Martin, The Wine Advocate.
