Press Reviews:

Like the Ruchots this is intensely floral with an attractive mix of both upper and lower register aromas that include red berry fruit, dark currant, earth and underbrush scents all of which are trimmed in a soft touch of wood. There is good richness and volume to the lightly mineral-inflected middle weight plus flavors that possess an abundance of dry extract that coats the mouth and buffers the moderately firm tannic spine. This should amply reward 12 to 15 years of cellar time. 91-93 pts

` The 2014 Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru has a very composed bouquet with intense red cherries, wild strawberry and raspberry preserve aromas, offering that sensuality Burgundy-lovers seek from a Charmes-Chambertin. The palate is medium-bodied and showing the hand of the oak a little at the moment, but it is in proportion with the fruit and the finish maintains fine delineation.` 91-93 pts, Neal Martin , robertparker.com
