2010 Aloxe Corton

Wine colour
France > Burgundy > Côte de Beaune
Domaine Lebreuil
Tasting Notes:

Like Les Peuillets, JB has been looking to soften the hard edges of the Aloxe-Corton, an appellation noted more for its stubbornness than its charm. And there is little doubt that once again he has succeeded. It has a nice underlying minerality which is supported by tannins that are finer than previously. It does tighten but it’s well balanced and of high quality. Drink from 2014

Press Reviews:

`Light cherry red. Relatively soft and very fruity. Bright fruited. Still quite chewy.` 16/20, Jancis Robinson, jancisrobinson.com, January 2012
