The Hottest Rosé in London: 2018 Triennes Rosé

Triennes Rosé

Triennes, the collaboration between Burgundy legends Jacques Seysses (Domaine Dujac) and Aubert de Villaine (Domaine de la Romanée-Conti), is now the hippest rosé in London.  The Triennes Rosé is a beautiful pale pink, with plenty of mouthwatering fresh strawberry fruit and a gorgeous minerality uncommon in many rosés.

Nearly three decades ago, these two prominent Burgundy winemakers spotted a domaine for sale in Provence that was too good to pass up. The gentle south-facing slopes, clay and limestone soils, and cool evenings give the wine its gorgeous bouquet and mineral streak. It comes as no surprise that, with credentials such as theirs, this provençale rosé has risen to the very top; it is to be found in the trendiest restaurants come springtime.

Rosé wines have come a long way from the bright pink blush wines of the past, and where, previously, rosé was mainly bought in the summer months, these days many of the top rosés have been snapped up by then. We've just received our allocation from Domaine de Triennes, and are delighted to offer the 2018 vintage before it even lands in the UK. It will be shipped in time for Easter, at which point you can have it delivered any time.

This is an excellent value for a wine of this quality; perfect for a sunny spring day or warm summer evening. Order now to ensure your spring delivery - available in bottle, magnum, and double magnum.

The 2018 Triennes Rosé (principally Cinsault blended with Grenache, Syrah and Merlot) is a delicate salmon pink and offers up a generous palate of wild forest strawberries and fresh raspberries, with a brilliantly precise and vibrant finish. Balanced as well as any quality white wine, this is the rosé to be drinking in London this summer.
