Peter and Brigitte Pliger stopped selling to the co-op in 1990 and began bottling their fruit. Farming biodynamically and based high up in the Valle d’Isarco (around 650 metres) they have 6 hectares of vines planted mainly on granite and quartz. Well exposed on terraces the vineyards enjoy a big swing in temperatures from day to night, which ensures both ripeness and raciness. Yields are well managed and the juice is aged in stainless. This comes from the Kaiton vineyard and shows great tension, purity and drive.

Farming biodynamically and based high up in the Valle d’Isarco (around 650 metres) they have 6 hectares of vines planted mainly on granite and quartz. Well exposed on terraces the vineyards enjoy a big swing in temperatures from day to night, which really suits Sylvaner. Yields are well managed and the juice is aged in stainless. This is about as good as Sylvaner gets with a taut intensity and character rarely seen with this varietal.
