Planted in 2013, these young vines of Trousseau are producing the ONLY Pet Nat of Trousseau in the world. Fizzy thanks to its natural sugar and through secondary fermentation happening in the bottle, the wine has a great pop of creamy bubbles that you would not find in the usual French Pet Nat. It is clean, bright and fresh with tropical fruit aromas on the nose, crisp pears and apples on the palate and developing more weight with time. A refreshing introduction to Pet Nat’ from the New World.

With this Pinot, Anthill Farms look to create a food-friendly, nuanced wine that represents the unique character of the Anderson Valley. Somewhat remote from most of Northern California’s wine-growing districts, this valley shelters a surprisingly harmonious blend of the wild and the civilized. in one vista, one can see sheep ranches, redwood groves, apple orchards, and impenetrable oak scrub.

Textbook Orsi Vineyard aromatics of roasted lemon, citrus and green apple. The palate is lively and bright, with the orchard citrus fruits juicy and textured, while the acidity supplies ample freshness and delineation. Savory, light, refreshing and very versatile to match with food.

  • "The 2016 Syrah Perli Vineyard is simply gorgeous. Rich, powerful and unctuous, with striking fruit density, the 2016 packs a serious punch. Blackberry jam, game, licorice, cloves and new leather infuse this sumptuous yet structured, savory, cool-climate Syrah. The 40% whole clusters add dimension but are also impeccably balanced. What a pretty and distinctive wine this is. Vinous: 94pts"

The hallmark of this wine is the spicy, smoky quality that underpins the dark fruit character. Concentrated and with great tension, this is delicious now due to its ripe fruit and balance but could have a long future ahead of it if it is allowed to. In 2000 16 acres of Pinot Noir were densely planted to protect the vines from the ocean winds and to provide heat from the soil. Duvarita starts at around 180 feet, rising to 370 feet and it is farmed bio-dynamically. (Drink from now)

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon The Ranch is soft, racy and absolutely delicious. Even with all of its natural intensity, the 2015 retains striking freshness and nuance. Sweet red-toned fruit and floral notes give this gracious, mid-weight Cabernet an air of pure charm that will make it easy to drink upon release. - Antonio Galloni 90

  • A knockout wine, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Brothers dazzles from the very first taste. Racy, powerful and voluptuous in the glass, with tons of textural resonance, the Brothers captures all the best qualities of the 2015 vintage. Time in the glass brings out the wine`s inner perfume, with hints of espresso, chocolate, grilled herbs and red cherry jam that add nuance to the sepia-toned flavors. The tannins need time to settle down, but the 2015 is impressive, even in the very early going. - Antonio Galloni 95+

The 2013 is a delicious and serious wine, racy and focussed, with sublime balance and length. This is high-class juice in every respect, packed with bright citrus flavours, subtle stone fruit and full of mineral complexities, possibly outshining any other Californian white we`ve tried (that has even been close to this price point). The impressive phenolics give a breadth and texture that you simply don`t see from other winemakers and there`s a chalkiness and tang to the wine that is reminiscent of Grand Cru Chablis. It`s almost impossible to resist now, but will only get better and better and we wouldn`t hesitate to cellar for up to 5-8 years (or beyond!). Just gorgeous!

The 2013 Pinot Noir Hidden Block is a very pretty, lifted wine. Sweet red cherry, mint and floral notes grace the palate in an understated, surprisingly gracious Pinot from the Varner brothers. The Hidden Block is one of the more delicate, acid-driven Pinots I have tasted from Varner. This is the first block that is picked, which likely contributes to the wine`s laid-back personality and expressive aromatics. Antonio Galloni 93

The 2015 Chardonnay White Hill is refined, elegant and lifted, with plenty of bright citrus, white pepper and floral overtones. This is in a decidedly delicate, restrained style for Liquid Farm. Antonio Galloni 91

This very unique Trousseau grows on limestone soil, the perfect environment to make a pure and mineral red wine. Combe 2016 is light-bodied showing subtle hints of dried herbs, bright red cherries, cranberries and rubharb. The underlying stony minerality and very delicate tannins makes it the perfect match for cheese or a light lunch, served straight out of the eurocave for fresher temperature.

  • "Fleshing out beautifully since I tasted it from barrel last year, the 2013 Pinot Noir Mt Carmel Vineyard 3 5 offers lots of minerality and saltiness to go with darker-based fruits, crushed violets and cassis. Slightly reserved aromatically, it hits the palate with medium-bodied richness, a supple, expansive texture and a big finish. Fermented with a tiny 5% whole-cluster and aged 11 months in 48% new French oak, it`s an incredible Pinot Noir that has no problem standing beside the more expensive Mt Carmel bottling. Drink it anytime over the coming decade." 95 points, Jeb Dunnuck, The Wine Advocate.

  • "High elevation and limestone soils mark Mt Carmel Vineyard out. The vines are dry-farmed and the result is wonderful: ripe fruit only just peeks though on the nose, an aromatic notion of ripe yellow apple with lemon brightness, surrounded by echoes of smoky hazelnut. The palate resprises this theme, and everything is still taut and dew-fresh, it seems. This is precise, concentrated and elegant; its considerable force is brought into enviable poise. Drinking Window 2018 - 2035" 95 points, Anne Krebiehl MW, Decanter

  • The 2016 Pinot Noir (Santa Barbara County) is an addition to Gavin Chanin`s range. Sweet red cherry and floral notes are nicely pushed forward in this tasty, appellation-level Pinot. Drink it over the next few years. -- Antonio Galloni, 90 points, Vinous.
