2018 Sacrisassi Bianco, Le Due Terre
Le Due Terre’s textured, aromatic white is an utter delight. It’s a blend of Friulano (70%) and Ribolla Gialla, which macerate on the skins for around a fortnight and undergo spontaneous fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is then raised for 21 months in neutral oak, adding yet more complexity and depth. In keeping with all the estate’s wines, the finish is long, mineral and moreish.
