When the Harlan family launched Mascot in 2008, a wine made with the younger vines of their three iconic hillside Napa Valley properties – Harlan Estate, BOND, and Promontory – it was meant to be shared among the Harlan family, winemaking team, and a handful of close friends. Yet word spread and demand rose for Mascot and today, in the words of Will Harlan, it represents ‘an athletic balance of energy and density… expressive and approachable early in its life with the potential to evolve long into the future.’
We are thrilled that Mascot Director, Mollie Maisch, has agreed to join us for a Mascot dinner at Hakkasan. Having worked closely with the Harlan family for over 6 years, she will guide us through a vertical of vintages from 2015 to the 2018 AND give a first reveal of the 2019, set to be released in September this year.
