Les St Georges
A big, big brooding nose of great complexity. Great colour and almost perfect balance. The palate is perhaps a little misleading as the depth and power of the fruit make this a delicious wine now but don’t be fooled as this will last a lifetime. Drink from 2017.
You get blown away by the Vaucrains and then you taste the Les-St-Georges. It`s not so much better as different as it combines excellent concentration with a slightly more Arian quality at this stage of its evolution. Another very fine example. Drink from 2019.
This is the one vine cuvée of the Les St Georges and it`s a classic example that should age very well. Structured, with good mineral undertones and plenty of intense ripe fruit, albeit hiding in the shadows currently. One for the future. Drink from 2017
