This is the king of red Beaune, lying in the heart of the appellation. It’s quite grown up with structure and substance that will need some time. Drink from 2018.
Awaiting Tasting Note
Quite simply, this is about as good as red Beaune gets. Powerful, scented and beautifully structured. Not the cheap- est Beaune you`ll ever buy but one of the very best. Drink from 2016.
As highlighted in the de Montille range, this vineyard has few peers, if any, in Beaune, and this version has remarkable sophistication for such a wine. There is also plenty of structure and stuffing . Fair amounts of tannin, but good tannin. Needs time but very promising. Drink from 2017.
