This is the first vintage of this wine, which comes from a tiny, almost triangular-shaped vineyard that sits just above the top left hand corner of Chevalier Montrachet. Only 3 barrels were made (there should be more in 2017!) so very limited volumes available. This was the most backward of the 1ers Cru as one might have expected but some excellent potential.
This is just so good. A great mix between dynamism and rich, intense fruit flavours. A touch of spice mingles with stone and everything is very harmonious. Drink from 2019.
The En Remilly is always excellent and the 2015 doesn’t disappoint. Intense yet broad on the nose - all citrus and waxy. The palate is typically concentrated with real precision and superb length. Richness always in perfect balance with raciness. A high class wine that will offer excellent drinking for many years to come. Drink from 2020.
