This is really quite high toned and mineral, thanks mainly to the austerity of the soil, although there is more clay than the style would suggest. Lively and full of vigour, this punctuates the fruitiness of the vintage really well. Drink from 2016.
This vineyard lies some way up the slope and is beautifully precise and mouthwatering. Limes and stone dominate and the sapidity begs for another glass. Drink from 2018
From the higher parts of Meursault, on the Puligny side, where the soil is fairly poor, this shows lively, citrussy character and quite a strict approach, especially for this vintage. Good zing and bite. Drink from 2019.
Antoine has 2 parcels of Blagny, one of which is 70 years old. There is excellent extract here and real stoniness, with almost a fumé element which is very inviting. Concentrated but lean in texture with citrus elements and stone fruit. Real substance on the finish.
